Who we are
The Facultad Internacional de Educación Teológica
(International Faculty of Theological Education - FIET), is an
institution destined to train pastors, leaders and lays of Jesus
Christ's Church. It is an interdenominational ministry who is
the result of several efforts in the field of theological education
since 1977. It offers training from the basics of Christian discipleship
to the Advanced Theology Bachelor level. The excellency of the
study materials -produced especially by us- the teaching methodology
centered on local churches and the scholarship of the faculty
make of FIET a trustworthy theological institution.
Our Mission:
To glorify the name of God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit,
providing the Christian people a sound biblical and theological
education, as well as the tools to develop an effective ministry.
Our Commitment:
To minister open to the Holy Spirit's work offering pedagogical
resources integrating, in a balanced manner, biblical and theological
knowledge with ministerial practice and commitment to the mission.
To honor the different ministries of Jesus Christ's Church,
respecting the particular characteristics of each Christian
denomination.
Our Strategy:
An Educational Project to the Local Church. FIET's academic
programs are designed to be developed within the local church
in small study groups with a mentor (a minimum of five members
each). Using this work structure, the local church is enabled
to initiate its own seminary project. FIET is committed to help
the local church through the entire process, providing all the
study materials, academic consultancy, and official accreditation.
An Educational Project to a Group of Churches or Denomination.
FIET offers as well the possibility for a group of churches
or an entire denomination to set up their own regional center
or seminary. Larger study groups in a classroom setting would
be allowed with a trained professor. FIET is committed to help
through the entire process, providing all the study materials,
academic consultancy, and official accreditation. Other proposals
may be considered.
